1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website and to consultations and treatments at A Aesthetics, with clinics at 6–8 Dunmore Street, Coleraine, BT52 1EL and 50 Victoria Gate, Derry/Londonderry, BT47 2TP. By booking with us, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

Our treatments are for adults aged 18 and over. We may ask for photo identification to confirm your age.

3. Consultations and suitability

Every treatment begins with a consultation with a member of our medical team. Your consultation is complimentary. We will assess your medical history and suitability, explain the options, expected results, risks and aftercare, and give you time to decide. We may decline or postpone treatment if we believe it is not safe or appropriate for you, and we will explain why.

Prescription-only treatments are only prescribed after a face-to-face consultation with a doctor or nurse prescriber. You must give us complete and accurate information about your health, medications and previous treatments, and tell us about any changes before each appointment.

4. Results

Every person responds differently. While we always aim for natural-looking, high-quality results, we cannot guarantee a specific outcome. Some treatments need a course of sessions or maintenance appointments, which we will discuss with you in advance.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are confirmed at your consultation and may change from time to time. The price agreed at the time of booking will be honoured. Payment is due at the time of treatment unless we agree otherwise, and we will confirm the payment methods we accept when you book. Courses of treatment paid in advance are non-transferable, and we will confirm how long they remain valid when you buy them.

6. Deposits, cancellations and missed appointments

We may ask for a deposit to secure a treatment appointment, and we will tell you the amount when you book. Any deposit is deducted from the cost of your treatment.

If you need to cancel or rearrange, please give us at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less notice, or missed appointments, may result in the loss of your deposit. If you arrive late, we may need to shorten or rearrange your appointment.

If we need to cancel your appointment, we will give you as much notice as possible and offer a new date or a full refund of any deposit.

7. Aftercare and reviews

We will give you aftercare advice after every treatment, and it is important that you follow it. If you have any concern after treatment, contact us straight away on 028 7051 2101. Review appointments are offered where clinically appropriate. In an emergency, call 999 or attend your nearest emergency department.

8. Refunds

Because treatments are medical services tailored to you, we do not normally offer refunds for treatments that have been carried out as agreed. This does not affect your statutory rights. If you are unhappy with your treatment, please tell us so we can review it with you (see our complaints procedure). Skincare products can be returned unopened within 14 days of purchase.

9. Photographs and records

With your consent we take clinical photographs as part of your medical record. They will not be used for any other purpose without your separate written consent. See our privacy policy for how we look after your information.

10. Conduct

We are committed to a safe and respectful environment. We may refuse or end an appointment if a patient behaves in an abusive or threatening manner towards our team or other patients.

11. Using this website

The information on this website is for general information only and is not medical advice. It does not replace a consultation with a qualified clinician. Our skin quiz provides general suggestions only. We aim to keep the website accurate and up to date but cannot guarantee it is free from errors. All content, images and branding on this website belong to A Aesthetics or its licensors and may not be copied without permission. Links to other websites are provided for information, and we are not responsible for their content.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and the courts of Northern Ireland have jurisdiction.
